Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 11, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The May Soybean Meal futures closed 26.00 higher at 449.50, July closed 25.50 
higher at 447.00 and August closed 24.30 higher at 432.30. The May Soybean Oil 
futures closed 89 points lower at 67.06 cents per pound, July closed 122 points 
higher at 64.80 cents per pound and August closed 220 points higher at 61.65 cents 
per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 25.50 
higher from 432.00-442.00, the basis was from 15.00 to 5.00 under the July Soybean 
Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 20.00 lower at 340.00 with limited 
trade in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct 
protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 250.00-280.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was 25.50 higher from 367.00-387.00, the basis was steady from 
80.00 to 60.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 
mixed, 89 points lower to 122 points higher from 87.06-93.30 cents per pound, the 
basis was 2000 over the May Soybean Oil futures to 2850 points over the July Soybean 
Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 290.00-370.00; Pork was 
steady from 350.00-410.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points higher from 41.00-
44.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady from 47.00-52.00 cents per 
pound. Feather Meal was steady from 400.00-475.00, with an instance of 625.00. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 950.00-1025.00; Pork was steady from 1000.00-
1050.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 48.00 higher from 110.00-160.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
